We firmly believe that every event, regardless of size, needs an in-depth level of customization and personalization. Our clients’ desires are the most important aspect of event consulting and we work to satisfy every detail, 100% of the time, without concession or compromise. While some Disk Jockeys and Masters of Ceremonies treat certain events with generic timelines, music selection, and scripts, BPM takes the time to personally meet with every individual client to ensure that every aspect of their unique experience is understood. We will take the time to ensure that every question is thoroughly answered and will walk every client through every step of our process. Nothing is out of the question!
BPM Entertainment utilizes only professional grade sound reinforcement and lighting equipment designed to provide quality audio and visual effects for all indoor or outdoor venue sizes.
At BPM Entertainment from the minute that we confirm your party, we will provide you with a written contract outlining the terms of your service. This is normally sent via email and we ask for you to sign and return it to the address in the header. If your party requires a deposit, we ask that it be sent back with the signed contract. It’s important to have a contract to guarantee your DJ services amd we would never suggest booking any DJ service without a written contract.
As each event is unique, BPM creates party packages that reflect the unique needs of each function. Price varies based on a few important factors: the type of event, available and popular event dates, performance duration, and required sound and lighting equipment. Simply call us or fill out our online inquiry form to give us a few details of your unique event and we will consult with you on what package will perfectly fit your needs!
The amount of time your DJ will play is totally up to you! Typically, most events span an average of 4-7 hours. If you are having a blast and want the DJ to play longer, you can purchase additional time on the day of the event at an hourly rate.
To contact BPM directly, simply give us a call, fill out our online inquiry request form, or send us a direct email to Bookings@BPMCT.com. We will put together an entertainment package based on your needs that includes all pricing and planning details. After your review and approval of your party package, we will draft and forward a contract via e-mail. We require a 35% deposit with a signed contract to hold your party date. Once the contract and the deposit are received, the dates will be held indefinitely and guaranteed!
For all wedding services, we typically recommend booking at least one year in advance. For all other parties we suggest at least 1-6 months advance planning; however, if there is an imminent need for our entertainment consulting services, give us a call to inquire about our availability!
No! Clients will be provided a contract with exact start and stop times of their particular event and will not be charged for any setup or breakdown efforts. Ample time will be allocated before all events to ensure a professional appearance before the first guest arrives.
All BPM DJ’s will arrive at least 1.5 – 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your event unless custom arrangements are made. We strive to complete every setup, sound check, and verify all logistics well before the first guest arrives.
Absolutely! We strongly encourage that every client takes some time to think about their favorite music and how BPM Entertainment can mold and customize the event! For smaller parties we encourage submitting a list of ten to fifteen songs in advance so we can have a baseline of what you would love to hear; we will use those suggestions and tailor the playlist to your preferences. For weddings and other larger parties, BPM will provide a comprehensive song list that gives examples of the types of selections and genres that are available and we will provide our personal recommendations. We also encourage that clients consider which songs MUST and MUST NOT be played based on personal preference.
Yes! Your BPM Entertainment DJs will act as the Master of Ceremonies during your event. This is one of the services we offer that is essential to the success of your function. Your DJ will make all announcements, in a style of your choosing, and make sure that the night flows exactly to the client’s timeline. We always strive to be energetic, enthusiastic, and motivating!
BPM Entertainment currently serves all of New England, the metropolitan New York/Tri-State area, and the Mid-Atlantic.
Of course! Your BPM Wedding DJ can provide customized music for all portions of your wedding. We will provide all processional, ceremony background, and recessional music and include wireless microphones to be used the wedding party and your officiant. We offer a satellite sound system for your wedding cocktail hour and ceremony that allows us to transition seamlessly.
Yes, BPM Entertainment uses only Shure wireless microphones which have a range of 250+ feet. Our microphone can be used during the ceremony and reception.
BPM Entertainment has an unlimited selection of music spanning any genre that our clients request. While many marrying couples decide to have jazz, easy listening, big band, classic standards, or ambient music for cocktail hour and dinner, our DJs will play any style requested. We will have multiple meetings, either in-person or over the phone, with every client to discuss every detail for the event.
Absolutely, but it’s totally up to host to let BPM Entertainment if they don’t want any requests! We’ll work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) and ensure that BPM plays songs that will satisfy the crowd’s needs and conform to your guidelines provided in our consultation meetings.
BPM Entertainment has an extensive selection of every genre; nothing is out of the question or unattainable! Some of the genres commonly requested are: Top 40, Club Dance, EDM, Classic Rock, Modern and Classic Country, Oldies, Big Band, Motown, R&B, 80’s-2000’s Hip-Hop, Jazz, Disco, Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, and more! If we don’t have your requests in our catalog, we will get it!
If you don’t want the fun to stop and want your DJ to play longer, we would love to continue our performance! You can purchase additional time at the beginning of each hour. All extra time is purchased on an hourly basis and the all overtime costs are outlined in your contract. Extra time must be paid via cash/check after the performance or via invoice within 30 days of the performance.
Gratuities to the entertainers are made at the client’s sole discretion. A 10 - 20 percent tip of the total fee is customary for an exemplary performance.
We stress customization for all events and will dress accordingly based on the requirements of the client. If we are consulting for a black tie function, all disc jockeys and emcees will be wearing tuxedos! BPM will always present the utmost professionalism and courtesy, no matter the required attire!
Yes. We carry a comprehensive insurance policy that may be required for performance at certain venues.
We accept most forms of payment for deposits and final balances: Personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and most major credit cards! Please make all checks and/or money orders payable to BPM Entertainment.
We do not charge for travel if your event is within 50 miles of Stamford, CT. If your event is located outside of this radius, a small logistics/travel fee will be applied.
